So this year, I'm keeping things simple. My one resolution is to "live more simply, so we can experience more."
This just means that I want to focus on necessities so that Laker & I can do the things we'd like to do. We'll be trying not to go out as much, saving money, & using our time/money for things that matter. We're also saving up to travel, upgrade some older items in our place, etc.
There are some other things I'd like to do this year as well, but I think they all fall under the "living simply to experience more" category. For example, I'd like to cross a few things off of my Bucket List this year, find a church that we really feel connected to, & work on some of the things I missed from last year's resolutions. I'm taking a semester off from school for the first time ever, & I'm glad to have some down time before I start grad school.
I've also noticed that I've let some of my hobbies slide in the past few years, & I'd like to get back to those. I want to read more, & do more crafty things. I don't cook & bake as much as I used to, & I need to get my camera out more just for fun. So with that in mind, if anyone would like to participate in some brunch & craft days, let me know! I'd love to have some company & accountability.
As I've said, I'm really excited about 2014. It's exciting to have a fresh start!
