On the way there, we stopped at one of our favorite places, Fat Guy’s Burgers, for lunch. We both had peanut butter bacon burgers & fries with strawberry ketchup <3
After Kaitlyn left, Laker & I had dinner at Grad School with Laker’s friend Kyle (He’s in a band called Sick of the Day that I’ve been listening to quite a bit. You can check them out here). Kyle was wonderful. We walked around downtown a bit after dinner & went to this cool record store (the third photo).
When we got back to our room, we hung out by the fire for a little bit.
Then came one of the best parts of the trip - 1984. It’s an arcade where you pay $5 to get in, & you can play as much as you want until they close - no tokens or quarters needed! We were only able to stay for about an hour because we had a 4 & 1/2 hour drive back, but it was so much fun. We stayed late specifically to go (they weren’t open Monday or Tuesday). They had 80s & 90s arcade games, & I discovered I’m awful at everything except PacMan & the Star Wars games (Tron wasn’t working… So sad).
