On the 26th, we drove for about 13 hours. We made a few pit stops, Halli & I did some coloring in our Disney princess coloring books, & I slept a lot. We passed through several states & finally got to our first stop.
We got settled into our rental house, which we reserved from Homeaway. We use Homeaway for the majority of our big trips - It's nice to be away from the stress of hotel crowds & to have our own space. This particular house had 4 bedrooms & 3 bathrooms, so we actually had TOO MUCH space, but it was one of the smallest houses I could find! We also had a heated pool. It was in a nice, quiet neighborhood, close to the parks. We loved it!
We went to Giordano's for dinner. Giordano's is my family's favorite Chicago-style pizza place. We go every time we're in Orlando. The service is never great, but the food is amazing! After Giordano's, we went to Walmart, which may seem boring, but Walmart in Orlando is basically a giant Disney souvenir shop. Also, Alex & I were both wearing Star Wars shirts, so I made him take a picture with me.
